Buz and Ned's Real Barbecue: Authentic BBQ Experience in Richmond, VA

Visiting from out of state, Buz and Ned's in Richmond was a hit! The food was really good. I enjoyed the southern-style mac and cheese, but the corn on the cob —seriously one of the best I've ever had. Hubs was in heaven with the jumbo BBQ ribs. Highly recommend for anyone looking for delicious, authentic BBQ while visiting Richmond.

Richmond is fortunate to have a number of really good BBQ restaurants. Buz & Ned's may be the Granddaddy of them all. Been there many times, to both of their locations. I prefer the West Broad St. location as it's got a better layout and more comfortable atmosphere for dining in. Of course the food is the main attraction and classic BBQ dishes and sides are all represented very well. The Baby Back ribs (pictured) are a standout favorite. Absolutely meaty and delicious. A half rack is a filling meal, especially if you get any sides. My guilty pleasure is getting the Beef Ribs, but be warned they are a bit expensive. One of the only places in town that offers those that I know of. Can't go wrong with any of the BBQ basics, pulled pork sandwich, cole slaw, baked beans, or potato salad. Buz & Ned's is a long time favorite place and I'm happy to see they have maintained good consistency of their food quality over the years.

Great place for a large group to have a private room for dining and socializing. We had a holiday gathering of local photographers enjoying several types of barbecue, baked beans, cold slaw, potato salad and ice tea. Our large event space held at least 50 people. We had a great time last year and again this year at this venue at West Broad Street and Parham Road area in Henrico. Excellent food and location!

I hadn't been here in a while so I stopped in for takeout. The lady at the bar was very nice when taking my order. After not too much of a wait, I got to drive home with the most delicious smell in my car. Well, the good BBQ and sides haven't changed. Still delicious!

Best Ribs I've had in awhile. The ribs were so meaty and flavorful And they weren't burnt. the sides were good as well. I had seasoned fries,macaroni & cheese and Okra. The customer service was on point. Very friendly Atmosphere. I ts worth the money and I will definitely be returning to this Establishment

Perhaps best bbq I've had in a while. Amazing cornbread. Had to get smoke wings twice in a week they are that good. Best ribs ive ever had and I never really go for ribs. This place does it all and does it all great.

We love this place! Not as busy today, so Ron was right there to great us as soon as we sat down. We love the feel of the restaurant. And the gigantic ceiling fan is crazy! Seat yourself and enjoy the tray of food that is about to come your way. Be warned though, great food at a moderate price. I definitely don't mind spending my money on a good quality meal. Well done Buz and Ned's!

The restaurant has a very nice rustic style. The space is fairly spacious, making it ideal for groups, individuals, or couples, and it also has a bar area. The service was nothing exceptional, just what I expected. However, the food took quite a long time to arrive, even though the restaurant seemed empty. They have a wide variety of items, mostly pork, beef and chicken. On the bright side, the ribs were delicious, and the brisket is highly recommended; it was very good. The prices are a bit on the high side, though.
